Exciting new opportunity for a Qualified Social Worker! -Permanent, Full time, Lancashire

Are you seeking a new opportunity as a Qualified Social Worker, one where you can help to make a difference and be part of a well established organisation and passionate team environment? Working for a non for profit fostering Agency serving the North West, who are committed to delivering high quality and caring homes to children and young people.

The role:

• To cover the Lancashire and wider North West area supervising and supporting a small caseload of fostering families and children.
• Provide ongoing supervision to foster carers and support the children to achieve the best outcomes possible.
• Work with and collaborate with an experienced and supportive team working with strong values and ethos.
• Be involved in the recruitment, training and assessment of prospective foster carers.

The ideal person:

• You will ideally be qualified in social work children & families with knowledge and experience of foster care.
• Your ability to work within a team environment and using own initiative will be key as will your ability to communicate effectively and be able to support your teams.
• Leadership qualities with the flexibility to attend assessments, and families where needed and to have a positive and 'can do' attitude.
