Job Description

I am seeking a positive and enthusiastic Production Planner to join their dynamic team. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment and possess strong communication skills, I want to hear from you! This role requires an open-minded and proactive individual who is ready to contribute to My Clients success.
Key Responsibilities
- Convert planned orders to production orders at the point of kitting.
- Check for shortages during conversion and advise purchasing, maintaining a spreadsheet of these shortages.
- Enter site commit dates.
- Review pick lists for unpicked items, addressing genuine stock issues or CPN/MPN/BOM discrepancies by amending production order component lists and coordinating with stores.
- Monitor shortage reports and respond to production and customer service enquiries.
- Assist with stocktakes and resolve production order variances.
- Support material transactions as needed.

Required Skills
To excel in this role, you should have:
- Previous planning experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Familiarity with MRP systems (SAP experience is desirable but not essential).
- High competence in Microsoft Excel (essential).
- Excellent communication skills.
- A proactive mindset with a systematic approach to tasks.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
- The ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced setting.
