Audit Senior

Brook Street is partnered with one of Northern Ireland's leading independent accountancy firms. They are seeking experienced Audit Seniors to join their dynamic team and take the next step in their career.

Location: Belfast And Lisburn (Hybrid)
Duration: Full-time, Permanent

Essential Skills:

• Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, or equivalent)
• Proven audit experience gained in a professional services environment
• Strong technical accounting and auditing knowledge
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills
• Capacity to mentor and guide junior team members

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the Audit Manager to plan and execute audit engagements
• Attend client meetings and planning sessions
• Investigate and resolve technical accounting queries raised during audits
• Review audit files, prepare financial statements, and ensure compliance
• Delegate tasks to junior auditors and provide coaching/mentorship
• Foster strong client relationships and deliver exceptional service
• Stay updated on changes in auditing standards and regulations
