I am working with a very prestigious law firm in Nottingham City Centre who are looking for an Trainee Legal Cashier. This role would suit someone who wishes to start a career in accounts or who has just completed an AAT qualification or has a strong work history in administration.

Your role is crucial in maintaining Solicitors Accounts Rules (SAR) compliance throughout the group. Key Responsibilities

• Managing banking and cheque production
• Handling client and office transfers
• Managing credit balances
• Overseeing deposit account facilities
• Executing electronic bank payments, including foreign exchange transactions
• Performing bank reconciliations
• Calculating interest
• Processing direct credits into bank accounts
• Posting, uploading, and paying supplier disbursement invoices
• Handling disbursement transfers
• Addressing general queries, both internal and external
• Performing general accounts duties as required

Your Skills and Qualifications

• Proficiency in technology, especially Excel
• Previous accounts experience is highly desirable
• Accuracy and attention to detail
• Good communication skills
• Organised and a strong team player
