Quotation Specialist (Manufacturing)
Are you a detail-oriented individual with a passion for manufacturing and excellent Excel skills? I am seeking a Junior Quotation Specialist to join My fantastic Cambridge Clients dynamic team!
About the Role:
As a Junior Quotation Specialist, you'll play a crucial role in their manufacturing process, working closely with engineering and purchasing departments to deliver accurate and timely quotations. This position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your product knowledge and contribute to process improvements.
Key Responsibilities:

• Communicate with engineering and purchasing teams to complete quotation requests efficiently
• Work with Bills of Materials (BOMs) and technical drawings
• Maintain customer BOMs, drawings, and quoting databases
• Create new quotes and update existing ones using internal tools and Excel
• Collaborate with account handlers to ensure positive customer experiences
• Engage in quoting-related process improvements
• Escalate potential issues to line manager
• Assist with stock takes and audits
• Create and recommend solutions to meet client needs

Required Skills:

• Highly organized with strong attention to detail
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (essential)
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
• Understanding of technical drawings (preferred)
