Purchase Ledger Assistant

Are you an experienced Accounts Payable/Purchase Ledger Assistant looking for a new challenge?

Are you process driven and love to problem solve?

We are looking for a dedicated Accounts Payable/Purchase Ledger Assistant to join a well-established client within Peterborough.


Hours: Monday to Friday 8:30am - 5pm (can be flexible) No weekend, No bank holidays

Salary up to £26,000 depending on experience

START DATE ASAP!

Duties:

  • High volume of matching, checking and coding of purchase invoices
  • Processing of staff expense claims
  • Setting up new supplier accounts and maintaining existing account details
  • Reconciliation of supplier statements
  • Ensure compliance with all legal, taxation and accounting standards
  • Scheduling BACS payments to suppliers
  • Point of contact for all purchase ledger enquiries
  • Maintaining strong relationships with customers, suppliers and staff in other departments
  • Support the wider Finance Team in any ad hoc tasks as required
