Registered Children's Home Manager

Salary: £50,000 to £55,000

Location: Birmingham

Role Description: We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Children's Home Manager for a 2-bed home specialising in learning disabilities (LD). This is a full-time, on-site position. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations and ensuring the provision of a safe and nurturing environment for the children in our care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage the daily operations of the children's home
• Ensure a safe, nurturing, and supportive environment for the children
• Oversee care plans and ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards
• Collaborate with staff, social workers, and other professionals
• Maintain high standards of safeguarding and child protection

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in managing a children's residential setting
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• In-depth knowledge of safeguarding and child protection procedures
• Understanding of regulations and standards relevant to children's homes
• Ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team
• Excellent organisational and problem-solving abilities
