Job Description

Job Specification: Receptionist (Pontypridd & Merthyr Tydfil)

Location:

  • One position based in Pontypridd
  • One position based in Merthyr Tydfil

Job Type: Full-time, Monday to Friday

Working Hours:

  • Monday to Thursday: 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM
  • Friday: 9:00 AM to 4:30 PM
  • Late night cover required (hours will be adjusted accordingly). For example, if late night shift is until 8:00 PM, the start time will be amended to 12:00 PM on that day.

Role Overview:

CTM is seeking two reliable and professional Receptionists to join our teams in Pontypridd and Merthyr Tydfil. The successful candidates will be responsible for supporting the day-to-day operations of our offices, primarily focusing on handling phone calls, managing appointments, and assisting with administrative duties.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Answering Telephone Calls: Efficiently manage incoming calls, provide relevant information, and direct queries to the appropriate team members.

  • Administrative Support: Utilize Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Teams, etc.) to assist with scheduling, record-keeping, and other office tasks.

  • Late Night Shift Coverage: Provide coverage for late-night shifts as required. Shift hours will be adjusted to ensure adequate coverage (e.g., if working until 8:00 PM, the start time will be shifted to 12:00 PM).

  • Training: Full training will be provided to ensure you are equipped to handle all tasks confidently.


Requirements:

  • Experience: Previous receptionist, customer service, or administrative experience is preferred but not essential. Full training will be provided.

  • Skills:

    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Teams, etc.).
    • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
    • Organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
  • Attributes:

    • Professional and welcoming demeanor.
    • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
    • Flexible and adaptable to changes in working hours (especially for late-night shifts).
  • Other Requirements: Must be willing and able to work late-night shifts on occasion, with adjusted start times.
