Job Description
Support Performance, Quality, Equality and Business Services functions in a fast-paced environment. Skills in Microsoft programmes required - especially Word, Excel, and Outlook Provide a full range of support services to the NSD Wales and South West Unit, which will include the provision of a broad range of administrative functions as determined by the Senior Admin Officer which are not limited to but may include: - System administration that supports operational staff - Diversity, Equality and Performance administration - General Office Administration - To respond to correspondence and queries as required when monitoring the functional mailbox - Health & Safety administrative support by recording home visit information/data - Management and organisation of case load tracker by region - Local information management using established Probation systems - To deal with sensitive and confidential data in accordance with data protection requirements - To upload and destroy paper based information efficiently when required - To use keyboard skills to produce and present documentation effectively when required - Support organisational vision and strategy for quality improvement within the WSW NSU - Support the development and implementation of systems within the WSW NSU - Assisting with the maintenance of computerised and manual records - Promote a culture of innovation and continuous improvement - Developing strong working relationships within the team and with other stakeholders - Maintenance of management information for use within the division - Share knowledge and good practice to inform the continual improvement of service delivery - Provide information to colleagues where required - Support a performance and quality-focused organisation - Providing information, feedback and advice - Participate in meetings as appropriate using appropriate skills, styles and approaches - Liaise with staff to receive and collate information, compiling reports and submitting as necessary before deadlines - Taking of minutes for core groups/professional meetings when required - Answering office phone and taking messages when required |
