Job Description
We have an exciting new job opportunity for an Administrator to join our government client, NHS England on a temporary basis working via our agency Brook Street till March 2025
START DATE- December/january - interviews will be conducted virtually and involve an excel test
FULLY ON-SITE IN CANARY WHARF- NO REMOTE/HYBRID WORKING!
The team you will be supporting is responsible for the recruitment, training and assignments of Doctors, Dentists and wider health care professionals e.g. pharmacists into training programmes!
Duties & Key skills:
- Administrative tasks- facilitating online interviews, checking ID, and admitting people into lobbies
- The team has a key role in ensuring consistent administration, continuous improvement and quality assurance of the full training pathway of postgraduate medical and dental trainees.
- Longlisting application forms for Foundation Doctors
- Sitting in Interview panels
- Timing interviews
- Assisting in ID verification
- Managing a shared mailbox
- Managing a master tracker with all applicants
- Liaising with senior consultants
- Setting up interview meetings
- Competent in I.T is important if you are to executive the above task. Microsoft Office, Word, Excel etc.
- Good communication - you will be dealing with doctors, dentists & Pharmacists when arranging/assisting with interviews.
- Confidence- communicate confidently & clearly to senior health care professionals and other internal and external stakeholders within the NHS
- Professionalism and promptness - needs to be maintained at all times, you are dealing with health care professionals who have very busy days, tasks must be dealt with promptly with a high level of professionalism
- Strong customer focus - delivers high level of customer service to Trainees, Trust Colleagues and other stakeholders. Strong attention to detail.
Salary: £16.44 p/h (with benefits of pension scheme and holiday.
Hours: 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 9-5 (this may require some flexibility)
A DBS check will be needed before you can start this role, we will process this for you.
