Job Description
Our public sector client in Birmingham is recruiting for a temporary worker to join their team as a Court Clerk - Admin Officer Grade. This is a temporary role, currently on the system until March 2025 but there will be chance of an extension. This role is full time, Monday - Friday, 37 hours per week. Usual working hours will be around 8-4/9-5 dependent on business need. The pay rate for this role is £11.88 per hour, paid on a weekly basis.
This role is fully office based, due to the nature of the role. The court us located in Birmingham City Centre - B4 6DS.
In this role you will be responsible for a smooth running of the courts. Your day to day duties will include but won't be restricted to:
- Ensuring set up of the court rooms
- Face to face communications with internal and external stakeholders
- Preparing/completing documents for court
- Completing administrative tasks post hearing
- Use of internal systems and process's
The ideal candidate for this role will have strong face to face customer service experience. As a court clerk you will be dealing people from all walks of life. Admin experience and MS applications knowledge also required.
If successful with this role, we will need to complete public sector vetting in order to get you started. Basic DBS check and 3 years of referencing.
