Job Description

Are you seeking a new opportunity as a Supported Living Manager to provide support to vulnerable adults with learning disability and complex needs?

Working for a reputable and progressive organisation who provide care and support to vulnerable people, we're seeking a skilled manager who is seeking a new challenge or a Deputy Manager ready for their next step up.

The role:

  • To provide effective leadership and management of a team of people to support adults with learning disability and complex needs for services in West Cumbria
  • To coach and mentor and motivate your staff team, creating a positive culture where everyone can achieve their best.
  • Develop & Implement care and support plans and be aware of with knowledge of all safeguarding issues.
  • Offer excellent communication skills and encourage people to be innovative in their thinking and work to share ideas and support making decisions.
  • Observe and assess staff performance and competencies
  • Liaise with the HR team, and adhere to legislative and contractual requirements.
  • Adhere to the core values within the organisation creating positive, person centred and inclusive approach.

The ideal candidate:

  • You will have excellent communication and team playing skills
  • Your ability to lead and motivate people is key and working with a positive attitude
  • Level 5 Leadership & Management or willing to complete this
  • Sound knowledge of CQC legislation and requirements
  • Flexible to work on a rota where needed and for on call duties on a rota basis.
