Hostel Support Worker - Hinckley, UK

Job Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality support to service users aged 17 to 26 in a hostel setting.
- Assist with daily living activities and promote independence among service users.
- Ensure the safety and well-being of all residents during your shift.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation as required.
- Work collaboratively with a team to deliver effective support services.
- Engage with service users to build trusting relationships and encourage participation in activities.
- Respond to emergencies and incidents in accordance with company policies.
- Contribute to a positive and inclusive environment for all service users.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Experience in a support or care role, preferably within a hostel or similar environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently.
- Understanding of the needs and challenges faced by young adults in a hostel setting.
- Knowledge of safeguarding procedures and health and safety regulations.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends.
- Empathy, patience, and a commitment to promoting the welfare of service users.
