About the Role:
We are looking for an experienced Tax Incentives Team Manager to lead a team of Tax Analysts, ensuring efficient operations and high-quality service. This role is ideal for a proactive leader with expertise in tax incentives and compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and oversee a team of Tax Analysts, delegating tasks effectively.
Monitor team performance to maintain high standards.
Provide coaching and support to enhance efficiency.
Foster a culture of excellence and continuous development.
Review and approve tax calculations and documentation for accuracy and compliance.
Manage amended corporation tax return submissions and additional information requests.
Stay updated on tax incentive regulations and provide expert guidance.
Improve systems and processes for better departmental function.
Ensure compliance with legislative and regulatory standards.
Identify and mitigate risks related to tax incentive claims.
Collaborate with other departments to enhance communication and alignment.
Generate and review departmental reports as needed.
Skills and Experience Required:
Essential:
Strong knowledge of corporate tax incentives, including R&D Tax Credits, Embedded Capital Allowances, and Land Remediation Relief.
Proven experience managing a tax incentives team.
Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Strong organisational and time management abilities.
High attention to detail and accuracy.
Effective problem-solving and analytical skills.
Ability to adapt in a fast-paced environment.
Proficiency with relevant technology.
Desirable:
ATT / CTA qualification or equivalent.
Experience working with multinational firms.
