Brook Street Recruitment is working on behalf of our Belfast client to recruit a new full time and permanent Exports Operator

The successful applicant will be responsible for part managing the export process in our Belfast office, while maintaining a strong customer service level to ensure our export clients receive the high level of service, they expect from us as a company.

The key tasks for the Export Operator are as follows:

• Manage export documentation files, processing shipping instructions, VGM's and other related documentation
• Process draft bills and amendments
• Finalise DTX files and process EMC's (where necessary)
• Provide customs clearance to customers
• Process bookings and book haulage
• Meet customer service objectives for VIP clients, where assigned
• Ad-hoc duties as assigned by the export team or office manager

CRITERIA

• Shipping experience is essential
• Proven track record in a customer service role
• Excellent organisational skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work to tight deadlines
• High level of computer literacy, with good working knowledge of current Microsoft applications
• Good geographical awareness

Salary will depend on background £35-40k
