About the Role

Key Responsibilities
Major Events:
- Assist in planning and delivering memorable large-scale events with thousands of participants.
- Coordinate logistics with suppliers, contractors, and cross-functional teams.
- Manage stock, materials, and key event-related resources.
- Provide hands-on support during events to ensure everything runs smoothly.
Bespoke Challenges:
- Handle participant registrations and inquiries, delivering exceptional customer service.
- Coordinate travel, accommodation, and bespoke event packs for participants.
- Support participants from start to finish, making their experience seamless and enjoyable.
- Assist with event-day logistics, both in the UK and overseas.
Volunteer Management:
- Recruit and coordinate hundreds of enthusiastic volunteers for major events.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with new and returning volunteers.
- Prepare volunteer materials, ensuring they're ready for both pre-event and on-the-day activities.
General Tasks:
- Draft engaging communications for participants, volunteers, and stakeholders.
- Maintain accurate records, manage databases, and assist with ad hoc administrative tasks.
- Collaborate with the wider team to brainstorm and improve event processes.

What We're Looking For
Essential Skills & Experience:
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Strong organisational abilities with outstanding attention to detail.
- A proactive, problem-solving mindset and a "can-do" attitude.
- 1-2 years of experience in the events industry, including stock management.
- Ability to manage processes and multitask effectively in a busy environment.
Desirable Skills & Experience:
- Previous experience in the charity or non-profit sector.
- Experience working as part of a high-performing events team.

- Full-time role (37.5 hours per week) with flexible start times between 8 am and 10 am.
- Weekend and evening work for events, with time off in lieu provided.
- 25 days of annual leave, plus bank holidays.
