About the Role
Brook Street is recruiting for an Education Programme Co-ordinator on a temporary contract for our government client. This is a hybrid role based in Oxford.

You will work alongside the Education Programme Manager and Education Programme Officer to ensure the effective operational delivery of medical and dental education programmes. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting national recruitment, programme management, and project coordination.
  • Managing trainee rotations, assessments, Out of Programme (OOP) arrangements, Interdeanery Transfers (IDT), and Less than Full Time Training (LTFT).
  • Administering client-focused services and liaising with senior clinical staff, stakeholders, and external colleagues.
  • Delivering professional support for recruitment, selection, and assessment processes across postgraduate medical and dental education programmes.

This role involves adhering to national policies and applying locally defined processes to ensure the smooth delivery of services.

Key Requirements

Essential Skills and Experience:

  • Proven ability to deliver high standards of customer care.
  • Strong office administration skills, including the ability to review and develop administrative processes.
  • Relevant administrative experience in a similar role.
  • Experience of working collaboratively with colleagues across varying seniority levels.
  • Proven ability to meet team objectives in a team environment.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise workloads, meet deadlines, and handle pressure in a challenging environment.
  • Ability to remain calm in high-pressure situations, such as periods of high recruitment activity or during challenging conversations with senior staff or medical trainees.
  • Experience drafting and producing accurate minutes and meeting notes.

This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to vital education programmes in the medical and dental fields while gaining experience within a government organisation.
