Deputy Home Manager - Residential Childcare
Location: Leyton
Salary: £34,000 (pro-rata)
Hours: 40 hours per week

Our client, a leading residential childcare provider, is seeking a dedicated Operations Supervisor to join their team. This role is perfect for an experienced professional with strong leadership skills, a deep understanding of safeguarding, and a commitment to providing high-quality care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the home, ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements.
  • Support and develop a skilled team, ensuring they meet professional standards and provide exceptional care.
  • Foster a nurturing and structured environment that promotes positive outcomes for young people.
  • Ensure safeguarding concerns, incidents, and complaints are handled effectively and in line with regulations.
  • Lead by example, ensuring all staff work towards achieving positive outcomes in line with the Ofsted framework.
  • Take charge of the home in the absence of the Registered Manager.

Requirements:

🔹 Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management in Residential Childcare (or equivalent).
🔹 Minimum of 3 years' experience working with children and young people in a residential setting.
🔹 Supervisory/leadership experience.
🔹 Strong understanding of safeguarding, health & safety, and regulatory compliance.
🔹 Ability to manage staff development, training, and performance.
🔹 A passion for providing high-quality care and making a lasting impact on young lives.
