Job Description

Key Responsibilities:
- Health Improvement Initiatives: Assist in the development and delivery of health improvement initiatives with NIAS staff
- Campaign Delivery: Liaise with the Health, Wellbeing and Peer Support Team regarding the delivery of campaigns and health improvement initiatives, engaging NIAS staff in line with NIAS, regional, and local health improvement strategies
- Health-Related Messages: Assist in delivering health-related messages to NIAS staff
- Monitoring and Evaluation: Assist in the monitoring and evaluation of health improvement initiatives
- SharePoint Management: Develop, implement, and update information within the NIAS Wellbeing page on SharePoint
- Marketing and Promotion: Lead the effective marketing and promotion of the NIAS staff wellbeing service, ensuring maximum awareness, visibility, accessibility, and participation
- Stakeholder Engagement: Engage with local health promotion services such as the Public Health Agency, Ambulance Sector support, and Blue Light organisations to create an annual health promotion programme, including Ambulance Sector health awareness days
- Reporting: Produce reports on the outcomes of initiatives, including evaluations and campaign reports using appropriate IT packages
- Research: Undertake relevant research to broaden the knowledge base of workplace health improvement and seek new evidence of what works to support people in workplace health
- Resource Development: Assist with the improvement and development of resources to support health improvement program delivery and disseminate resources to key personnel
- Strategic Objectives: Play a vital role in ensuring the effective delivery of a range of strategic objectives and initiatives aligned with the Trust's Healthy People, Healthy Place Health and Wellbeing Strategy and Corporate and Directorate objectives and the HSC Staff Wellbeing Framework
- Management Updates: Work with the Management Team to provide updates (monthly/quarterly/annually) in relation to agreed objectives
- Professional Development: Identify areas for personal and professional development and attend courses and seminars as required
- Record Management: All employees of the Trust are legally responsible for all records held, created, or used as part of their business within the Trust
Salary and Contract Duration:
- Salary: £29,269 per annum
- Hours: 37.5 hours per week
- Contract Type: 6 months
