Administrator - Civil Service

Location: Scarborough, YO11 3YS

Pay: 12.42 per hour

Job Type: Temporary

Sector: Public Sector

Hours: 18 hours over 3 days (6 hours per day)

What Will Be Your Day to Day Tasks?

Within this role your duties will include but may not be limited to:

  • Answering telephone queries from various call queues, taking messages and passing to the correct person and logging all calls on the contact log system.
  • Day to day administrative assistance; ensuring incoming/outgoing mail is recorded and processed; including looking after up to 4 local shared mailboxes.
  • Responsible for collating and accurately entering fishing activity on to our in-house system. Checking electronic and catch recording data is accurate.
  • Actively chasing missing/late paper and electronic fishing logs.
  • Assisting colleagues with calls to Industry enquiring about missing sales/landing information.
  • Dealing with any personal callers to the office.
  • General office filing.
  • Attending weekly team meetings.

Full training in all aspects of the role will primarily be given. The successful candidate will be expected to be office based and have prior working knowledge of IT systems. Days worked will be agreed with the successful candidate.
