Are you a highly organised individual with strong administrative and customer service skills?

We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Administration Officer to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience in administration and customer-facing roles, who is eager to contribute to a busy, dynamic environment.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare papers and files for court, tribunals, hearings, and meetings, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  • Create and update records on the in-house system, including gathering and entering relevant information.
  • Book, prepare, and organize meeting rooms and court hearings.
  • Process casework such as court orders, claims, and fines efficiently and accurately.
  • Clerk Civil and Family Courts, assisting with administrative duties during proceedings.
  • Handle in-person queries at the counter and answer telephone calls, providing professional and friendly customer service.
  • Communicate effectively with Judiciary, Magistracy, and other court staff to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Work effectively under pressure and deliver a "right first time" service.
  • Assist with other duties as required.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 GCSE passes (or equivalent) grades A*-C, or NVQ Business Administration Level 2, or relevant administrative experience.
  • Proficiency in IT systems, including Microsoft Office 2016. Experience with additional systems is desirable.
  • Strong administration skills with a focus on accuracy and efficiency.
  • Experience working effectively in a team and communicating clearly with colleagues and customers.
  • Ability to work under pressure and maintain high standards in a fast-paced environment.
  • BPSS + Basic DBS required.

Additional Requirements:

  • Flexibility to work as needed, adapting to the requirements of the role and the team.
  • Willingness to assist with additional duties as they arise.
