Key Responsibilities

As a Technical Manager, you will report to the Regional Director and be instrumental in:

• Managing Technical Delivery: Oversee the effective delivery of developments from a technical perspective.

• Leading Communication: Conduct meetings and present to clients and the senior leadership team with confidence.

• Project Management: Ensure timely progression of mixed tenure residential projects from pre-start to physical site commencement, providing support during the build phase.

Role Requirements

You will be expected to:

• Coordinate Design Teams: Manage the design team and specialist subcontractors efficiently.

• Interface Management: Process manage design interfaces between various project packages.

• Technical Evaluation: Assess scheme proposals to ensure compliance with planning and building control standards.

• Product Appraisal: Evaluate new building products and relevant legislation.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess:

• Previous experience in a similar role, particularly in residential new builds for both private sale and social housing markets.

• Strong leadership qualities and effective management skills.

• A degree or professional membership in Building or Civil Engineering, which is essential for this position.
