Job Description
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Team Leader to join our dynamic team in Bradford. This role is pivotal in providing leadership and support to our staff, ensuring the delivery of high-quality services to those in need.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervision and Management: Oversee and support a team of Hostel Support Assistants and Support Workers, ensuring effective service delivery.
- Service Development: Contribute to the development and implementation of programs aimed at improving the lives of individuals in our care.
- Collaboration: Work closely with other departments and external agencies to ensure comprehensive support for clients.
- Training and Development: Facilitate training sessions and ongoing professional development for team members.
- Reporting: Maintain accurate records and reports on team performance and service outcomes.
Essential Qualifications:
- Proven experience in a leadership role within a residential environment or supported housing setting.
- Strong understanding of the challenges faced by vulnerable populations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team and independently when required.
- Experience of working with individuals with addiction issues.
- Experience of working with individuals with mental health problems.
- Working knowledge of Health and Safety regulations relevant to residential services.
- Working knowledge of welfare and housing benefits.
- Ability to communicate effectively with service users.
