Job Description

Children Senior Support Worker

Salary: £24,000 - £26,000

Benefits: Pension, Study Support, Bonus

Responsible to: Home Manager/Deputy Manager

Lead the way in providing exceptional care and support to young people.

As a Senior Support Worker, you'll play a vital role in our team, overseeing the daily operations and ensuring the highest quality of care for children and young adults.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Team leadership: Guiding and mentoring a team of support workers.
  • Care coordination: Ensuring that care plans are implemented effectively and consistently.
  • Training and development: Providing training and support to staff.
  • Crisis management: Responding to and resolving challenging situations.
  • Quality assurance: Monitoring and evaluating the quality of care provided.

In addition to the responsibilities of a Support Worker, you'll also:

  • Develop policies and procedures: Contribute to the development and implementation of best practices.
  • Represent the team: Attend meetings and represent the home's interests.
  • Act as a role model: Demonstrate exceptional leadership and caregiving skills.
