  • St Albans

Working Days:

  • Monday to Saturday: Full days
  • Wednesday: Half-day

Salary:

  • Starting Salary: £24 - 25 ,000 per annum - DOE
  • Commission Structure: Guaranteed commission available for the first three months to promote high performance.

Job Summary:

We are recruiting for a highly motivated and customer-focused Sales Manager. The ideal candidate will have a background in retail sales, preferably in furniture, and a passion for delivering outstanding customer experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Customer Engagement: Greet and engage customers in a friendly and professional manner, understanding their needs and preferences to provide tailored advice on products.
  • Product Knowledge: Develop and maintain comprehensive knowledge of their products, including materials, styles, and features to assist customers in making informed purchasing decisions.
  • Sales and Targets: Meet or exceed sales targets by providing exceptional customer service and ensuring customer satisfaction. Utilise sales techniques to close deals efficiently.
  • Showroom Maintenance: Ensure the showroom is clean, organised, and visually appealing at all times.
  • Inventory Management: Assist with inventory management and restocking as needed.
  • Customer Support: Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues promptly to maintain high customer satisfaction levels.
  • Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve store sales goals and contribute to a positive team environment.

Requirements:

  • Full UK right to work: this role does not provide sponsorship
  • Experience: Previous experience in retail sales, preferably in furniture.
  • Skills:
    • Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Strong customer service abilities.
    • Ability to work effectively in a busy environment.
