Job Title: Production Operative

Location: Mallusk

Start Date: March 25

Hours of Work: 36 hours per week, Monday to Thursday (7:25am - 4:55pm, with a 30-minute lunch break)

Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Production Operative to join our team in Mallusk. The successful candidate will be responsible for a variety of tasks within a dynamic production environment.

Key Responsibilities/ candidates must have experience in

• Soldering
• Production Machine Operation: Operate production machinery efficiently and safely.
• Cable Loom Assembly: Assemble cable looms to specified standards.
• Mechanical Assembly: Perform mechanical assembly tasks as required.
• Software Replication: Assist in software replication processes.
• Kit Building: Build kits according to production schedules and quality standards.
• Packing: Pack finished products for distribution.
• LEAN Manufacturing Programs: Participate in LEAN Manufacturing initiatives to improve efficiency and quality.
• Portfolio Management: Work across multiple portfolios to meet production targets.
• Perform other duties as deemed necessary by the production team.

Desirable Requirements

• Production Environment Experience: Previous experience working in a production environment.
• Electronic Equipment Experience: Experience working with production electronic equipment.
• PCBA Experience: Familiarity with Printed Circuit Board Assemblies (PCBAs).
• PC Literacy: PC literate with ECDL or equivalent certification desirable.
• Good Dexterity: Strong manual dexterity.
• Quick Learner: Ability to learn quickly and adapt to new processes.
• Process Adherence: Ability to follow work instructions and adhere strictly to processes

Hourly Rate: £11.75, paid on a weekly basis
