Part time Secretary/Administrator (Remote)

We are supporting one of our clients who are looking for a Secretary/Administrator to join their team on an ongoing temporary basis working only 7 hours per week. FULLY REMOTE.

Job Responsibilities.

  • Organising, attending, and minuting both regular and ad hoc meetings including the circulation and coordination of relevant papers, minutes and agenda before and after the meetings; Agreeing and publishing the agenda for meetings
  • Regularly and proactively communicating with committees to ensure they are fully aware of upcoming issues and, wherever possible, try and achieve consensus opinions before meetings; Production and oversight of forward work programme developed in conjunction all those involved.
  • Present summaries of important issues (and, where you have consulted with members of the committee, their opinions on these issues) at meetings.
  • Collate responses to consultations and attendance at Working Groups if required
  • Liaise with staff to ensure appropriate representation at meetings to inform committee discussions
  • Liaise with the Company Secretary function to ensure alignment of committee meeting dates with the Board calendar. Timely flagging of matters that need to be considered for the Board agenda.

Ideal person they are looking for.

  • Someone who is proactive to co-ordinate activity between the committee.
  • Good attention to detail
  • Experience in Note taking within meetings

Working hours: 7 hours per week. (Flexible on the actual working day)

Pay Rate: £25 per hour (Weekly Paid)
