Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
-To maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards of production equipment, utensils and factory areas on a daily basis, cleaning and disinfecting as instructed.
-To complete all daily and weekly tasks relating to all factory areas as detailed in the weekly cleaning schedule.
-To maintain daily/weekly cleaning documentation.
-To assist in daily hygiene cleaning and disinfecting within the factory environment, including break cleaning and tray wash usage.
-To follow cleaning instructions, maintaining high degrees of cleanliness and following all hygienic practices and procedures as trained.
-To follow all safety requirements at all times concerning cleaning procedures, chemicals and Health and Safety.
-Adhere to all company procedures and policies at all times.
-To achieve all hygiene targets as set by company policy.
-To undertake any reasonable request by your Line Manager in order to achieve standards fit for food production.

-Ability to communicate effectively in order to follow instructions for cleaning duties.
-Flexibility with a positive approach to undertaking a variety of tasks within Hygiene
-Flexibility will be required when there maybe unforeseen issues and could require longer working hours. Also there could be times when overtime is required to cover promotions and holiday absences.
Physical Demands
Work is of a manual nature so activities such as lifting, bending, standing and pushing will be frequent.
Personal Protective Equipment is provided but as the production environment is chilled, suitable clothing should be worn.
