*NHS 111 Call Handler*

Hours - Part time on rota system, option of 24 hours, 18 hours (twilight shift) or 12 hours per week (average over 13-week period) - OVERTIME AVAILABLE!

Location - Milton Keynes office based

Type - Permanent position

Pay - £20330, pro rata + extra for unsocial hours

About the Role

As a 111 Health Advisor, your main responsibility will be to take calls in a busy environment and provide patients with the right support.

You will take a variety of incoming calls from patients, providing them with an appropriate response to urgent healthcare needs within a timeframe. This could range from booking a GP appointment, advising them to attend an out of hour's service or even dispatching an ambulance.

Occasionally you will be required to take priority 999 calls on occasions to support the wider business - you will be dealing with high pressure, distressing calls due to nature of business
