Job Description
Brook Street Recruitment is delighted to be working with our Belfast City Centre Client who are a Global Insurance Company, they are currently recruiting for an experienced Motor Claims Handler to join their expanding team
Responsibilities
- Managing the customer`s motor claims journey
- Negotiate Motor Insurance Claims - fleet haulage and marine transport
- Excellent customer service experience and ability to manage complex claims
- Provide input and advice to clients on claims progress, manage expectations and support needs.
- Escalate claims to Account Executives or Senior Management in accordance with referral triggers.
- Set up first advice and managing subsequent interactions with clients and insurersAssist with the audit of client`s claims statistics and provision of summary reports and analysis.
- Meet the agreed standards of service, volumes and performance levels, in line with KPIs.
- Full claims process, first notification to final settlement
- Ensure all information is captured and inputted onto internal systems
- Working with Motor / Third Party Property Damage Claims
Criteria:
- Proven experience within motor claims
- Strong communication skills - verbal and written
- Preferred to have CII Qualification or working towards it ( not essential)
- Competent in Microsoft Office.
Salary will depend on background and based on experience
After training there is an option for hybrid working - one day per week from home.
