Wellbeing Worker Opportunity in Chesterfield, Bolsover, and North-East Derbyshire



Salary: £23,205 (rising to £24,765 from 1st April)



Location: Chesterfield, Bolsover, North-East Derbyshire



Hours: 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 9am-5pm



Contract: Fixed Term Contract until February 2026 (Maternity Cover)



Essential: Valid UK Driving Licence

Are you passionate about making a positive impact on people's lives? We are seeking a compassionate and dynamic Wellbeing Worker to join a highly reputable charitable provider, supporting individuals facing mental health challenges in Chesterfield, Bolsover, and North-East Derbyshire.

About the Role

As a Wellbeing Worker, you will provide one-on-one support to individuals experiencing mental health difficulties. Your role will involve empowering them to manage their wellbeing, develop essential life skills, and take control of their future. You will collaborate with social workers, mental health professionals, and local services to ensure comprehensive support.

Key Responsibilities

  • Tailored Support: Provide personalised care based on individual support plans.
  • Collaboration: Work with mental health professionals and social workers to ensure holistic care.
  • Empowerment: Help individuals achieve their goals through communication, motivation, and coaching.
  • Monitoring: Adjust support as needed based on evolving needs.
  • Community Engagement: Encourage participation in local services and promote physical and mental health.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain detailed records and report on progress to improve service delivery.

What You Bring

  • Driving Licence: Full UK driving licence and access to a car.
