Brook Street Recruitment is working on behalf of our client in Antrim to recruit an Import Entry / Operations Supervisor


Primary Responsibilities:

• Provide departmental support to the Import Manager
• Create job files and input shipment details onto in-house software.
• Compile data required for import customs clearance and a check of required documentation.
• Efficiently and accurately process import customs entries on CDS for all customers within the guidelines of relevant laws and regulations.
• Arrange delivery of shipments to meet customer requirements.
• Costing and invoicing of customer files.
• Dealing with customers providing information on customs clearance procedures and delivery arrangements.
• Providing clearance instructions to courier companies, receiving/checking completed entries and liaising with courier companies to resolve any corrections required.

Essential:

• Experience/knowledge of processing Import customs entries. (Working with CNS, CCS desirable).
• Experience of using various import custom procedures codes.
• Knowledge of Microsoft packages - Outlook, Word, Excel.
• Good communication skills.
• Flexible and enthusiastic approach to daily tasks.
• Good organisational skills.
• Ability to work accurately in a busy department.
• Experience in supervising people, delegating tasks, monitoring, motivating.
• Experience in commercial quotations.

0900 to 1700 hours Monday to Friday or as operationally required (one hour lunch)

The salary for the role will be circa 30k per annum
