Facilities Assistant


Type: Full Time | Permanent Post
Salary: £25,802

An exciting opportunity has arisen to advance your career in the leisure industry by joining My Clients fantastic central Cambridge team. We are seeking dedicated individuals who hold a current National Pool Lifeguard Qualification and possess customer service experience

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work within the leisure centre gym and cover the front desk.
  • Assist in the pool area and ensure safety protocols are followed.
  • Gain experience in the operation of various sports facilities, including the sports hall and swimming pool.

Training and Development:
Successful applicants will benefit from a comprehensive 2-year training program, which includes support in obtaining industry-recognised qualifications such as:

  • Level 1 & 2 Swimming Teaching Qualifications
  • Fitness Instructor Qualifications
  • First Aid Qualifications

Working Hours:
This role is based on a 37.5-hour workweek, with annualised hours that include evenings and weekends on an alternating roster. Some flexibility in scheduling is required. Part-time applications are also welcome; please indicate your availability when applying.
