Job Title: Experienced Finance Officer

Location: Cardiff Office-Based (28 hours per week Negotiable)
Contract: 3 Month Contract (Potential for Extension)
Pay: £31,387 (Pro Rata £17.20)

I'm recruiting an experienced Finance Officer for a temporary role with one of our trusted long-term clients. The ideal candidate will have experience in managing financial processes such as invoicing, purchase orders, and spend tracking, with a strong understanding of income and P&L reporting. This is an ideal opportunity for somebody's looking to get into the wider public sector!

• Manage financial processes such as invoicing, purchase orders, and spend tracking.
• Oversee income and expenditure, ensuring accurate account management and Profit & Loss (P&L) reporting.
• Use financial systems (e.g, Oracle) to process transactions, generate reports, and monitor budgets.
• Ensure procurement complies with financial guidelines and project requirements.
• Responsible for cash management, bank reconciliations, accounts payable, and all other daily finance operations.
• Prepare accurate financial reports to support decision-making.
