Job Description

My public sector client based in Birmingham City Centre is looking for an Executive Officer level manager to provide managerial support for a small team within their Legal Services Directorate. This is a 5 month temporary assignment with a possibility of extension, Monday to Friday paying £12.62 p/hr, full time 37.00 hours a week, this role is hybrid working, currently three days on site and two from home.

As part of this role, you will be required to conduct one to ones, and review personal development plans for members of your team. You will need to guide and lead the team through coaching where necessary.

Tasks and the material you will need to guide and manage the team with can be taught; the client is more interested in candidates that are able to show that leadership experience in face to face team work situations.

Skills required:

" Effectively handle enquiries, communicating clearly, concisely, and openly
" Work using your own initiative to organise, prioritise and co-ordinate work tasks to meet tight deadlines within your team
" Work flexibly across a broad range of roles and tasks
" Work confidently with IT systems including MS office such as Word, Excel and Teams
