**£13.75/hr - Fast-paced PA role - £13.75/hr **
DLUHC Department for Levelling Up, Housing and Communities
EO (Executive Officer)
Looking for a new PA role that is different every day, fast-paced and challenging?
The Department for Levelling Up is looking for a confident PA who can hit the ground running. This really is a fast-paced, high energy role that requires quick thinking and logic. You will be working closely with the senior leadership team and as such you must be confident about your work and abilities.
The Department for Levelling Up, Housing and Communities supports communities across the UK to thrive, making them great places to live and work. Their work includes investing in local areas to drive growth and create jobs, delivering the homes our country needs, supporting our community and faith groups, and overseeing local government, planning and building safety.
An excellent package is offered, including:
- £13.75 per hour pay rate
- Starting ASAP until the end of December 2024, with potential to extend
- Accrual of up to 33 days paid annual leave pro rata available (inclusive of bank holidays)
- Working 37 hours per week, Mon - Thu 9am - 5pm and Fri 9am - 4.30pm
- This role is based in Wolverhampton
- Training given
- Potential for hybrid working once fully trained - 3 days in the office, 2 at home
- Travel to London, twice a month, travel expenses covered
Key Responsibilities:
Your responsibilities may include but not be limited to:
- Managing a shared inbox and its rota
- Supporting with meeting and event planning
- Filing
- PA support to Deputy Director
- Managing Directors Diaries
- Wider team support, responding flexibly to tasks that arise
What are we looking for?
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strategic thinker, able to plan ahead, avoiding diary clashes
- Advanced skills in Microsoft products - Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Sharepoint and Teams
- Attention to detail
Ideally, you will love a challenge and will not be afraid of working on multiple tasks, moving from one job to another.
You will be confident in your abilities and familiar with working with high level Senior Leadership Team members. As such you will know how to act and dress accordingly.
As you will need 2 screens to work from, when working from home, you will need to ensure that you have allocated office space for the duration of the role.
