**£13.16/hr - Fast-paced Financial role - £13.16/hr **

EO (Executive Officer)

The Department for Levelling Up, Housing and Communities supports communities across the UK to thrive, making them great places to live and work. Their work includes investing in local areas to drive growth and create jobs, delivering the homes our country needs, supporting our community and faith groups, and overseeing local government, planning and building safety.
An excellent package is offered, including:
" £13.16 per hour pay rate
" Starting ASAP until the end of February 2024, with potential to extend
" Accrual of up to 33 days paid annual leave pro rata available (inclusive of bank holidays)
" Working 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with some flexibility as the office opens at 8.30am to 5pm
" This role is based in Wolverhampton
" Full training given, including SAPs
" Potential for hybrid working once fully trained - min 2 days in the office

Key Responsibilities:

Your responsibilities may include but not be limited to:
" Supporting the financial HEO in their role - collating data etc
" Creating spreadsheets
" Assisting with Payroll, starters and leavers
" PA support during holiday periods
" Creating Purchase Orders and assisting in other procurement areas
" Wider team support, responding flexibly to tasks that arise

What are we looking for?

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Fully conversant with Microsoft products - Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook and Teams
- Attention to detail
- The ability to review and analyse assurance information
Ideally, you will have a numerical background and have strong skills in Excel as this is a very finance orientated role and fast paced.
You will be familiar with working with high level Senior Leadership Team members and will know how to act and dress accordingly.
As you will need 2 screens to work from, when working from home, you will need to ensure that you have allocated office space for the duration of the role.
Candidates applying must be able to pass a clear Basic DBS check and provide proof of Right to Work in the UK.
