Job Opportunity: Executive Officer - Ministry of Defence
Location: Primarily Remote working however will be required to travel to different bases the for meetings. The main office is located in High Wycombe.
Pay: £14.71 per hour (weekly Pay)
Hours: Monday to Friday - 9am - 5pm
Are you ready to make an impact? Our Public Sector based client based at the Ministry of Defence is looking for an Executive Officer to join their small supportive team working on the United States Visiting Forces (USVF) project.
Key Responsibilities:
- Preparation and presentation of utility invoices to USVF budget advisors for payment
- Assist in the recovery process by submitting payment documents.
- Extract key information from invoices for timely recovery.
- Build trust with U.S. contacts through clear communication
- Accessing Utility Company portals and downloading invoices into secure sharepoint folders.
- Communicating with Energy Companies regarding utility invoices.
- Completion of excel spreadsheets with payment actuals for each account.
- Arranging meetings and engaging with key stakeholders, by phone, email or MS Teams but may also include travelling to US Visiting Forces bases ( RAF Mildenhall, RAF Lakenheath, RAF Alconbury, RAF Croughton, RAF Fairford) within the UK or HQ Air Command (High Wycombe) for face-to-face meetings.
Skills Needed:
- Strong admin and customer service experience.
- Ability to work independently and remotely.
- Proficient in Excel with great attention to detail.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
If successful, you will need to be able to provide your Right to Work, 2 proofs of address and proof of National Insurance to go forward for this role.
