Job Description
We are hiring for the position of Executive Officer !
Location: Manchester
Salary: £14.50 per hour
Contract: Temporary, 12 months with view to extension
Working Days: Full time, Monday to Friday
HOURS : Monday to Friday 6:30am-7pm (flexible)
HYBRID: 3 days working in the office and 2 days working from Home
Our client, the Home Office has a fantastic opportunity to join their ALAR department at Manchester office as an Executive Officer.
Key responsibilities :
The key responsibility of an Admin Review caseworker is to weigh up all evidence available and ensure that decisions are defended fairly and robustly where the correct decision has been made
Ensure a person is granted the permission they are entitled to if their application has not been considered correctly.
AR caseworkers must write well-reasoned, professional decision letters explaining the decision made, often arguing against grounds of challenge
There will be expectations that will need to be met.
Essential Skills:
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to analyse complex information, with a focus on identifying errors and irregularities.
- Ability to weigh up various evidence sources to inform sound decision making.
- Ability to manage own time and workload whilst prioritising competing deadlines.
- Flexibility and adaptability to changing work priorities.
- The ability to swiftly learn how to use different IT platforms/packages.
- There will be expectations that will need to be met.
Training:
- Full time office attendance in the first 3 weeks (4 weeks ideal) and then to the 60% hybrid model.

** You will be required to undertake security clearance for these roles, and it is imperative that you hold a valid passport and be able to provide two proofs of current address and a proof of national insurance document.
**Start dates will be confirmed once we have had clearance back.
