Job Description

We are hiring for the position of Executive Officer !

Location: Liverpool

Salary: £14.50 per hour

Contract: Temporary, 12 months with view to extension

Working Days: Full time, Monday to Friday

Hours: 37 hours per week, 9 am to 5 pm

HYBRID ROLE: 3 days office and 2 days working from Home

Our client, the Home Office has a fantastic opportunity to join their Liverpool office as an Executive Officer, working within the SRU department.

** You will be required to undertake security clearance for these roles, and it is imperative that you hold a valid passport and be able to provide two proofs of current address and a proof of national insurance document. **

Start dates will be confirmed once we have had clearance back.

Duties for the role:

The teams receive referrals from a variety of stakeholders, and they can contain serious or high-profile concerns and the decisions that the team make can have a real impact on people's lives as well as ensuring that the immigration system works and is fairly applied. It is therefore essential that those decisions are lawful and well-reasoned, and able to withstand judicial scrutiny often in the High Courts.
In all these roles, you will work to the guidance and framework in place. The job holder will be expected to maintain and ensure high quality of service is delivered to customers.

You will be required to work partly in the workplace and partly at home. A hybrid working pattern may be available, where business needs allow.

Training provided:

  • No holidays during the 3/4-week training period
  • Training plan: Training - 3 sections | 1st week 3 days. 2nd week 3 days, 3rd week 2 days - Training will take place in the Liverpool Office .
