Job Title: Criminal Lawyer
Location: Coventry, CV1
Salary: £35,000+ (Depending on Experience)
Hours: 9:00 AM - 5:15 PM (Office-Based) with Duty Rota Inclusion
Our client, a reputable law firm based in Coventry and Warwickshire, is seeking to expand its specialist criminal team. This position provides the opportunity to handle a varied and stimulating caseload and potentially advance into a leadership role within the department in the future.
Key Responsibilities:

• 
  Provide comprehensive legal advice to clients regarding their rights, potential defences, and the legal implications of their situation.

• 
  Conduct thorough case analysis and investigation to build a robust defence.

• 
  Represent clients in court proceedings, including bail hearings, pre-trial conferences, plea negotiations, trials, and sentencing hearings.

• 
  Conduct legal research and analysis to stay current with relevant statutes, case laws, and precedents that may impact clients' cases.

• 
  Liaise with Barristers on cases and collaborate on legal strategy.

Requirements:

• 
  Police Station Accreditation (mandatory).

• 
  Strong advocacy, communication, and negotiation skills.

• 
  Ability to manage a varied caseload effectively.

• 
  Willingness to participate in the Duty Rota.
