Job Description

Our public sector client based in Plymouth are recruiting for a court usher (Band F) to join their team as a temporary employee. This is currently a temporary role until 31/12/24 with a good chance of being extended. This is a full-time role, 37 hours per week, Monday - Friday. Your usual working hours will be between the hours of 8:30am - 5pm (dependent on business need).

The location for this role is PL1 2ER. This role is fully onsite due to the nature of the work.

As a court usher you will be responsible for a smooth running of the courts. Fantastic customer service skills will be required for this role, you will be speaking with people from all walks of life. Your day-to-day duties will include:

- Setting up the court rooms (water, pads, pens etc)
- Ensuring correct schedule for the court rooms
- Communicating with Judges etc
- Collating court files and papers
- Giving directions to court rooms
- Recording outcomes
- Data entry

Candidates with strong face to face customer service experience will be considered for this role.
