Job Description
Our Public Sector client is looking for a Contracts Support Officer, to join their Project and Contract Management Integrated Delivery Hubs across England. This is a temporary role with the possibility of extension. Full time Monday to Friday 37.00 hours a week, 9.00am to 5.00pm. This role will be paying £14.16 per hour. Currently offered on a hybrid working basis.
This client is ideally looking for someone with a passion for interpreting numerical or financial data, spotting issues, and confidently reaching solutions, whilst maintaining positive working relationships.
You will be responsible for helping to manage contracts by uploading documents, raising purchase orders, processing payments, and resolving issues to make sure suppliers are paid on time.
You will work closely with Project Managers and Commercial Service Managers to ensure everything runs to the required time lines.
You will develop your understanding of contracts and financial processes while contributing to the success of the team.
Skills required -
- Financial data understanding
- Highly organised, self-starter and well-motivated as you will be mainly working unsupervised
- Able to prioritise workload and adapt to changeable deadlines
- Good communications in both written and verbal form
- Confident in engaging with senior leaders and colleagues
- Have the ability to maintain a high level of accuracy and are able to apply very high levels of attention to detail
- Good working knowledge of MS applications including SharePoint and OneNote.
Please note this role will require a DBS check, and three years referencing.
