Job Description
Our Public Sector client based in Birmingham City Centre is currently looking for an Administrative Officer to support their department. This will be Monday to Friday, usually 9.00am to 5.00pm. This will be a temporary assignment with the possibility of extension, paying £11.53 p/hr. This is currently fully onsite whilst training for 6 weeks with a possibility of hybrid working in the future, where it would be three days working on site and two working from home.
This role will be responsible for the below tasks and any other ad hoc administration tasks required.
- Mainly data inputting
- Dealing with general correspondence via letter, email, text and telephone
- Banking cheques onto the system
- Inputting batch receipts and payments
- Logging and monitoring the services daily cash flow in and out
- Excellent communication skills required
- Excellent telephone skills required
- Good understanding of MS applications in particular Outlook, Word and some Exce
The client is looking for someone with previous financial experience.
Please note this role will require a DBS check, and three years referencing.
