Job Description

*Immediate Vacancy*

We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Clerical Officer to join the Unified Communications team at our clients premises in Coleraine. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in supporting the day-to-day operations of our communications systems under the guidance of the Unified Communications Manager.

The ideal candidate will have strong organisational skills, technical aptitude, and excellent communication abilities. Experience in a similar role or knowledge of unified communications systems is advantageous but not essential, as training will be provided.

The hours are 36.5 weekly (08:45 - 17:00 Monday to Thursday, 08:45 - 16:00 Friday). Our client requires support until 27th November 2024, however this may be extended in line with absence

Main Duties:

Act as a switchboard operator, efficiently handling incoming calls and directing them to appropriate departments or individuals.

Perform general office duties, including managing filing systems and responding to telephone queries.

Order and receipt unified communication devices and consumables.

Provide first-line support and technical advice to users of unified communication services, maintaining a positive and proactive approach.

Process and prioritise requests for new installations and modifications of existing unified communication services across voice networks, mobile networks, and associated systems.

Assist with technical deployment, configuration, and maintenance of communication services.

Record, identify, and rectify faults on voice networks, mobile networks, and associated systems.

Liaise with external contractors and maintainers to ensure timely resolution of faults.

Monitor fault reporting and supervise external contractors when on-site, ensuring the security and safety of unified communications infrastructure.
