Brook Street Recruitment is seeking a reliable and dedicated Cleaner to join our team at a school located on Malone Road. This part-time position is essential for maintaining a clean and safe environment for students and staff.

Position: School Cleaner
Location: Malone Road, Belfast
Salary: £11.62 per hour
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 15:15 - 18:45
Access NI required

Key Responsibilities

• Perform general cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and sanitising classrooms, hallways, restrooms, and other school facilities.
• Empty bins and dispose of waste in accordance with health and safety regulations.
• Report any maintenance issues or repairs needed to the appropriate personnel.
• Adhere to all health and safety guidelines to ensure a clean and safe environment.
• Work collaboratively with other staff members to ensure the cleanliness of the school.

Qualifications and Skills

• Previous cleaning experience, preferably in a school or similar environment, is an advantage
• Strong attention to detail to ensure high standards of cleanliness are maintained.
• Punctuality and reliability are crucial for this role.
• Ability to communicate effectively
