Job Description
Children's Residential Support Worker
" Location: Hope, Wrexham
" Salary: £20,547- £23,973
" Hours: Full time or Sessional Shifts available
Are you passionate about giving children the care and support they need? Do you want a new and rewarding career change? Brook street social care are currently offering exciting new roles within the children and young people social care sector. These new opportunities arise as Brook Street social care partner with a fantastic children's residential service located in Hope, Wrexham. We are looking for individuals who present a strong and resilient nature along with the skills to be able to provide top quality care, for young with learning disabilities, autistic spectrum disorders and challenging behaviour.
What are the requirements?
" Driver's license desired
" Experience working within the social care sector
" Nurturing and parental nature
" Level 3 Diploma in Children and Young People/Residential Childcare (Desirable)
Key Duties & Responsibilities
" Encourage health and wellbeing within the service
" Demonstrate an understanding of working with children
" Able to overcome challenging behaviour whilst following guidelines
" Excellent communication skills
" Become a trustworthy figure and build relationships with young people
" Show a clear understanding of safeguarding and strictly follow company procedures in the line with the safeguarding policy
