Are you a meticulous Calibration Technician seeking a fresh opportunity? Our client, a leading distribution company in County Down, is on the lookout for a dedicated professional to join their dynamic team. This role offers an exciting chance to work in a fast-paced environment where accuracy and efficiency are paramount.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the complete calibration process, including booking, testing, reviewing results, and invoicing customers.
• Maintain precise and up-to-date calibration records throughout all stages.
• Diagnose faults, troubleshoot issues, and recommend effective solutions.
• Foster strong relationships with customers and suppliers.
• Provide expert technical support and guidance to customers.
• Monitor stock levels, place orders for necessary parts, and prepare stock as needed.
• Coordinate special deliveries with third-party couriers when required.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of inspection and calibration procedures.
• Work efficiently within set deadlines and budget constraints.
• Assist in trade counter and warehouse operations as required.
• Follow company policies and procedures diligently.

Essential Criteria:

• Excellent communication and telephone skills.
• Confident and proactive in managing challenging situations.
• Team-oriented with the ability to work collaboratively.
• Capable of managing tasks effectively under pressure and adapting to changing priorities.
• GCSE or equivalent qualification in Mathematics and English (Grade C or above).
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word and Excel).

Desirable Skills:

• Interest in electronics.
• Previous experience in a similar industry.
