Job Description
My public sector client is looking for an experienced Business Administrator to support their team. This is a temporary 6 month assignment Monday to Friday paying £12.86 per hour, full time 37.50 hours a week. This role is currently working from home; however the team meet face to face once a month at their Birmingham City Centre office, and you may also have to attend ad hoc days in the office to support for example business meetings where necessary.
Your role will ultimately be to ensure that an excellent business administration service is provided to staff and stakeholders and of course the wider leadership team. Your role will include:
" Initiating and managing systems in order to ensure safe administration
" Support with administration of meetings, this will include scheduling, preparing papers, and also making notes and providing comprehensive action points
" Some diary management and shared responsibility for inboxes and appointments
" General administration duties such as data entry, answer telephones and replying/issuing correspondence
" You will be required to establish and maintain constructive relationships with a broad range of internal and external stakeholders across all levels and nurture key relationships
Skills required -
" Highly organised, self-starter, well-motivated and pro-active
" Good organisational skills and be able to prioritise workload and adapt to changeable deadlines
" Good communication, both written and verbal form
" Confident in engaging with senior stakeholders and customers
" Have the ability to maintain a high level of accuracy and are able to apply very high levels of attention to detail
" Fully proficient in all Microsoft packages: Word, Excel, Outlook and Powerpoint
This role will require three years referencing to be in place before you start on the assignment.
