Job Description

My public sector client is looking for an experienced High-Level Business Administrator to support their Director and wider Team. This is a full-time temporary assignment for around three months, with the possibility of extension. It is paying £13.36 per hour, Monday to Friday working normal office hours 9.00am to 5.00pm, with some flexibility with these. This role is currently mainly working from home, but there will be an expectation to attend onsite meetings at their Bristol office at least once a month, so you would need to live within a commutable distance.

Your role will ultimately be to provide personal administration support for the team, this will include:
" Being responsible for calendar management and organising meetings for the leadership team
" Organising the meetings themselves, through booking rooms, electronic invitations, ensuring the chairperson rota is kept up to date, organising refreshments and also administration support: scheduling, preparing papers, and also making notes and providing comprehensive action points which need to be followed up on
" Being responsible for a shared inbox, triaging this for other members of the team and flagging anything urgent and responding to any generic emails
" Diary management
" Book accommodation and travel where necessary, making best use of colleague`s time
" General administration duties such as data entry, answer telephones, filing and replying/issuing routine correspondence

Skills required -
" Highly organised, confident self-starter, well-motivated and pro-active
" Show sensitivity and emotional intelligence
" Good organisational skills and be able to prioritise workload and adapt to changeable deadlines
" Good communication, both written and verbal form
" Confident in engaging with senior stakeholders and customers
" Have the ability to maintain a high level of accuracy and are able to apply very high levels of attention to detail
" Fully proficient in all Microsoft packages: Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint

This role will require a clearance and three years referencing in place before you start on the assignment.
